RACE AND SUPPORTING PROGRAM

REGISTRATION, CHANGES AND STARTING NUMBERS
The competition regulations can be found under the “REGISTRATION” tab: https://soca-outdoor.com/en/registration/
A refund is possible only for a runner who cannot participate for health reasons and has already paid the entry fee. The runner must submit an official medical document (report, doctor’s certificate, etc.).
Refund conditions:
- 90% refund if request is made before 1 March 2026.
- 70% refund if request is made between 2 March 2026 and 1 April 2026.
- 50% refund if request is made between 2 April 2026 and 1 June 2026.
- After 1 June 2026 no refund is possible, regardless of reason.
If the runner does not participate, they also forfeit the start package and all associated benefits.
If the non-attendance is not for health reasons, a runner transfer is possible until 10 June 2026. You can organise this yourself — log into your registration (you received access in the confirmation email) and use “Transfer registration to another person”.
Changing the distance is possible, but you must do so by 10. 6. 2026.
If you choose a shorter distance, there is no refund, while if you choose a longer distance, there in an additional fee.

A runner transfer is possible only up to 10 June 2026. From 11 June 2026 until the registration deadline (15 June 2026), changes are possible for a fee of 10 €.
The transfer is done in your private registration zone (access via confirmation email). Look for “Transfer to another person”.
The registration deadline is 15 June 2026, or until places for a given distance are filled. On-site registration will be possible only if free places remain. This information will be published in the week before the event on our Facebook and Instagram profiles.
The list of registered competitors for Soča Outdoor Festival 2026 will be published on the website.
No medical certificate is required. Each competitor runs at their own risk.
Start numbers can be collected at the main festival venue in Tolmin:
- Friday, 26 June 2026, from 16:00 to 21:00
- Saturday, 27 June 2026, from 06:00 to 07:30 (50 km, 35 km and 25 km runners)
- Saturday, 27 June 2026, from 16:00 to 19:00 (15 km, 10 km and 5 km runners)
- Sunday, 28 June 2026, from 06:00 to 09:00 (15 km, 10 km and 5 km runners)
- We recommend you collect your start package already on Friday to avoid possible queues on race day.
Runners must collect their own start number and present an ID. If someone else collects it for you, they must also have your letter of authorization. If someone runs with your start number without a proper transfer, the result will be disqualified.
No. If you registered as a group, this doesn’t automatically mean your start numbers will be prepared for group pickup. If you wish them to be together, please send us the list of your group members (names, surnames, routes, T-shirt sizes) by 24 June so we can prepare for a joint pickup. Otherwise, each member should collect their number individually.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPETITON ROUTES
Final GPX files for each route of the Soča trail runs will be published in the runner’s guide, which you will receive prior to the running event. We will also send them via newsletter in May or early June.
Yes — the trails are marked with orange ribbons, flags with reflectors and signage.
Time limits by distance:
- 50 km – I feel Slovenia: 12 hours
- 35 km – Soča: 8 hours
- 25 km – La Primafit: 6 hours
- 15 km – adidas Terrex: 4 hours
- 10 km – Continental: 3 hours
- 5 km – Soča: 2 hours
- Triglav Vertical Run: 2 hours
- Vertical Run: Friday, 26 June at 19:00
- 50 km: Saturday, 27 June at 06:30
- 35 km: Saturday, 27 June at 07:00
- 25 km: Saturday, 27 June at 07:30-7:40-7:45
- 15 km: Sunday, 28 June at 07:00-7:10-7:15
- 5 km: Sunday, 28 June at 08:00
- 10 km: Sunday, 28 June at 09:00-9:10-9:15

For disciplines with block starts (10 km, 15 km, 25 km), only participants who start in the first block are eligible for the overall victory. It is the runner’s responsibility to position themselves in the first block if aiming for the win. No complaints will be accepted afterwards.
ITRA points are awarded for the I feel Slovenia 50km and Soča 35km races:
- I feel Slovenia 50km: 3 ITRA points
- Soča 35km: 1 ITRA point
You collect your start number at the festival venue. Then walk to the start (approx. 20 min). If you arrive by car you can use the same parking as the festival venue — it’s located roughly halfway between Tolmin centre and the festival venue.
Yes, but the dog must be on a leash. At the start position you must place yourself at the back so the dog doesn’t nuisance or endanger other runners. Important: if you place among the first three with a dog, your result will not be counted.
AID STATIONS
Locations are given in the route descriptions under the “COMPETITION” tab.
You’ll find energy bars, bananas, apples, oranges, tomatoes, cheese, salami, peanuts, crisps, biscuits. Drinks: water, isotonic drink and Coca-Cola.
Important: Single-use cups will NOT be available. Please bring your own mug, bottle or hydration bladder. If you don’t have yours, you can buy one at the Outdoor Freak shop at the venue.
There is no specific time limit, but runners must keep the race time limits in mind.
An emergency contact number will be printed on your start number.
Support is only permitted at official refreshment stations, not between them. Outside of stations, runners must be self-sufficient.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Each runner must have their own reusable cup.

The organiser reserves the right to make changes in case of extreme weather.
If a runner is asked to show mandatory gear and fails, a penalty of 0.5 hours will be added. If a runner refuses to show the equipment, they will be disqualified.
INFRASTRUCTURE ON SITE
A special parking area will be arranged for the festival. Please follow the signage and instructions of stewards. If you stay overnight in Tolmin, we recommend walking to the venue. Parking price: 5 € per car (valid for all days). If you are staying at the festival campsite parking is free (space will be arranged in front of the tents). There are other parking areas in Tolmin, though they may be further away.
Portable toilets and shower units will be placed at the venue. Additional outdoor showers will be available at the campsite.
Cloakrooms for storage and changing will not be available.
ARRIVAL AT THE DESTINATION AND ACCOMMODATION
From Nova Gorica–Bovec direction: approach the venue via the newly built bypass.
From Ljubljana direction (Most na Soči–Tolmin): access via the Poljubinj bridge.

There are many accommodation options in Tolmin and the surrounding area, but they fill up fast in high season. We recommend booking early. Check available stays via https://www.soca-valley.com/sl/nastanitve/
Yes — near the venue are Campsite Siber, Campsite Labrca and Campsite Gabrje.
In addition, a festival campsite will be available close to the main venue. It’s a more improvised setting but will include chemical toilets, outdoor showers and wash-basins. Pre-booking is essential (you can reserve when registering for the trail run).
The campsite is available from Friday, 26 June from 13:00 until Sunday, 28 June until 17:00.
For those staying at the festival campsite, parking is free. The parking lot is close by and arranged. To ensure space and comfort, cars cannot enter the campground area except for vans/campers in the designated section — please follow instructions given by staff.

FESTIVAL CAMP
You can book it when registering for the race. You can also book for your companions — cost is 25 € per person (flat rate for all days).
Yes — companions can be registered with you. Price: 25 € per person (includes festival tax, upkeep of the campsite, sanitary facilities and waste removal). Children under 12 years stay for free.
The campsite is just a few steps from the main venue. Access from the junction near the Hofer exit. Follow the signage. Note: vehicles with bicycles on the roof may not take it through the underpass.
Arrival: Friday, 26 June between 13:00 – 21:00 or Saturday, 27 June 08:00 – 20:00
Departure: Sunday, 28 June by 17:00
Yes, dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash and under the owner’s control.
Yes — there will be a dedicated section for campers and for those staying in their car. Price the same as tent: 25 € per person.
For those staying in the campsite, parking is free and nearby. Cars cannot enter the camping area except for designated parking in front of tents. Please follow staff instructions.
Yes — chemical toilets, outdoor showers and wash-basins will be provided.
Sorry — there will be no electricity supply at the campsite.
