Along this section, the Soča reveals its wildest character. This area is well known among whitewater enthusiasts from all over the world. The trail then passes by Trnovo and Kobarid, where the valley narrows into a picturesque canyon. Along this stretch, the turquoise river will be almost constantly within reach.

Approaching Kobarid, the valley gradually opens again and the river becomes calmer. The day ends in Kobarid at Kamp Koren, where we provide:

  • access to showers and sanitary facilities

After dinner, a relaxed evening gathering around the fire follows.
