Balance/Slackline Workshop for Top Achievements
Slackline is a great tool to learn the hidden balance skills that are indispensable to achieve top results in running or any other activity. In a very short time (2h) we can learn how the key concepts of balance work (proprioception, fluidity of movement, concentration, intuitive reactions, visualization, flow).
The main advantage of Slackline is that we can learn the necessary techniques in just 1h, because there is very little of them, and then we can pay all our attention to the correct mental attitude, which is the key to better balance. This is the source of many of the advantages that are crucial for success in competitions or, more broadly, in difficult situations, because it is often the head that fails first.
In addition to increasing body stabilization and muscle responsiveness, slackline also gives you:
- better proprioception, control of muscle strength and timing,
- increased fluidity of movement for better energy utilization and achieving a state of flow,
- we realize a higher level of concentration,
- we learn to trust our intuition better (because it is faster than the rational signals from the frontal brain and therefore the key to better balance),
- learn to stay relaxed in stressful, difficult-to-imagine situations,
- learn about the effectiveness of visualization and the power of the mind,
- the impact of breathing on the body and mind,
- learn how the concept of flow/drive works and how to hold it for a longer period of time.
