Visitor information and accommodation for Soča Outdoor Festival
An event where everybody finds something for themselves.
At the Soča Outdoor Festival, we strive to reduce negative impacts on the environment. Each of us can make an important contribution to this, so we have created special guidelines for all participants, which will be a guideline for us all to act more responsibly. We invite you to follow the tips below and co-create the sustainable story of the Soča Outdoor Festival. Let’s be an example to other events together!
- Arrive by train or bus or arrange with other participants to share transport to Tolmin.
- Take advantage of the participation in the Soča Outdoor Festival for a multi-day break in the Soča Valley.
- All of you who will be sleeping in the tent at the venue, make sure you clean up and leave the environment as it was before your arrival.
- Pick up all the rubbish you see in nature and make sure you bring it with you to the finish or to the nearest refreshment station. Separate the waste and dispose of it in designated areas. Try to reduce the amount of waste you produce, especially when it comes to disposable plastics.
- Stay on marked trails.
- Use your Soča Outdoor Festival cut and pour water from barrels. At the refreshment stations it will be served in special jugs by our volunteers. Use water carefully.
- Take the challenge and give up meat for one day - the vegan menu has a 90% lower carbon footprint than meat menu!
- Spread green awareness and encourage other participants to act responsibly.
We can achieve a lot doing small steps. Conquer green habits and include them in your routine at home as well. Share your positive experiences with friends and help us spread the green mindset.
