At the Soča Outdoor Festival in 2022, an engagement happened for the first time (perhaps not the last time?). Just before the finish line of the adidas Terrex 15km run, Kaja Albreht was waited for by her boyfriend Matija Krišelj with their sleeping son in the Tolminka stream. “Wait, I have only a couple of meters to go, the clock is still running,” Kaja described the happy event. “He told me to wait a bit, and I repeated again that I was in a hurry to reach the finish. He kneels down and asks me to marry him with a ring in his hand.”

We congratulate Matija for his idea, and we wish the future husband and wife a happy and long life together. We hope to see you again some time – you know that we also organize a children’s run, right?
