TOGETHER FOR THE COMMUNITY AND NATURE

The Soča Outdoor Festival team once again stepped up this year to support the local community and the environment. Together with the Sleme Medrje Agrarian Community, we organized a full-day volunteer project to clear overgrown pastures on Medrje Mountain, the highest point of the I Feel Slovenia 50 KM trail (35th kilometer). A dedicated team of 16 rolled up their sleeves and ensured the pastures along the trail to Sleme Mountain were well-maintained.

RUNNER'S DONATIONS

Our runners showed their generosity once again this year. During race registrations, we introduced the option to donate and together raised €1,740, which was allocated to three important projects:

  • €1,000 for the Tolmin Mountain Rescue Service, which is ensuring the safety of runners,
  • €240 for carbon offset initiatives, dedicated to tree planting,
  • €500 for the Zatolmin Agrarian Community to help restore the road to the Zatolmin Alpine meadows.

We have been developing the festival for years following sustainability principles:

  • Minimizing negative impacts on the natural and social environment,
  • contributing to the local community and festival visitors,
