You will visit the German ossuary where German soldiers who fell in the 12th Battle of the Bulge found their final resting place. A visit to the Old Town will take you back to the even more distant history of Tolmin, whose story was no less turbulent than that of the whole of Posočje, which at the turn of the century was considered a crossroads of transport routes. During the walk, you will also visit the Austro-Hungarian military cemetery of Loče, where 3000 Austro-Hungarian soldiers of various nationalities are buried today; and the easy walk will end at the Tolminka River, where you will learn more about the Soca trout, the fish farm and fishing along the Soca and its tributaries.
